I find the VALO curing light to be excellent. It is very easy to use and I like the multiple power settings. It makes me very confident in the depth of cure and overall quality of my restorations.
The VALO has been a great addition to our office and I am very satisfied with the unit. I like the variable power, fast curing speed, durability, and ease of accessing posterior areas. A larger or more prominent start button would be my only suggestion for improvement. This is a minor point and does not detract from this quality light. The barrier sheaths that are available could be slightly longer too.
The VALO is a great light. It’s well built, feels great in my hand, has a powerful short cure time and there is no battery to go dead in the middle of the procedure.

LOVE LOVE LOVE VALO! I was so happy our rep from Ultradent showed us this light when it came out. It’s so lightweight, easy to use and slim design which is great for patients who can’t open wide. I’ve actually dropped this and it is still working! We just love it. My only complaint is the activation button which I would perferred to be reversed with the setting button.

We love VALO because of its design it’s easier to manipulate around the mouth to different positions. It’s very light which makes handling easier. It’s easy to use the power and setting buttons.
My staff and I are enjoying the effeciency and maneuverable size of our new VALO curing lights. It is easy to get to hard to access locations in the mouth and the multiple curing powers are a great feature. When we used an older halogen light this morining, my assistant said, “I forgot how bulky the old light was”. Very glad we made the change.
We ordered 2 of the VALO lights for our office. They have made a world of difference in our office. Light, compact, long cords. We have now ordered 2 more plugs so we can move them to the other operatories easier. A little expensive compared to other units, but well worth it.

We bought one VALO to replace an older Ultradent light, we have since bought seven more, with intentions on buying 8 more to fill all the doctor ops. Great power and resistance to the ever so gentle “accidental drop” the girls may put them through.. well worth the money….. Maybe they can engineer a camera with the same build quality???

We have four of them and it has sped up our curing by at least two fold. They are easy to care for and being metal, do not crack, or break, or discolor. They are small and powerful and indispensable! Thank you for designing a light that really makes sense!
Fantastic light, used VALO about a year now – the access to posterior teeth is so much easier, cure is great. I don’t worry about weakening batteries and worsening cure anymore. Works well with CEREC.
When we got the Ultralume curing lights, we thought that it couldn’t get any better than that. The very day the sales rep came to our office and told us about the VALO light I knew it would be a great product just because of our experience with Ultradents products and the Ultralume, so I ordered one. Just as I thought. It can’t get any better than this! We have them in all our opratories now. As I told everyone at the seminar in Cancun in February. Anyone that is aware of the VALO and doesn’t have one is a bonehead. (Of course that is just my narrow minded opinion.)
I like everything about VALO, but I would like to see the activation switch a little further back on the handle. This would provide greater visibility for a big handed person like me. I feel as if I am placing too much of my hand in the mouth and diminishing my ability to see. You light does everything I need for it to do.
